According to the files in the monochromia folder on my disk, this is my 100th post here on Monochromia. It’s amazing how quickly the time has passed. I’m still glad to be a part of this great community of talented photographers and lovers of monochrome images.
So, I looked for a very special image to celebrate this anniversary.
More of my images can be seen atย my own blog.

Congratulations on 100, Andre! And you’ve celebrated with a stunning image. The movement of the water surrounding the driftwood is captivating and framed well with the dramatic waves and clouds. Great work. ๐

thank you so much, Jane. I love this kind of images: Something moving in combination with something static. At the sea, the conditions change so rapidly. Every couple of minutes the light and the scene changes. I love being at the sea.

Great photo, the driftwood looks a bit like a sea creature washed up. Congrats on number 100!
