How do we keep a skeptical eye on the demagogues* without letting our attention on them become fixation?

Excellent image and thoughts Steven 🙂 I think one of the problems is that civics classes are not taught in school anymore. The other problem is like you mentioned, people are so caught up in social media and just reading about what appeals to their beliefs they won’t talk to each other to solve a problem or reason out some middle ground solution. It also does not help that we have “alternative facts” news channels that the tweeting Cleon uses as a sounding board. Just sayin’
