Joe, you can’t fault the governor for wanting to save money. He just needed to make sure there was enough in the coffers to pay his salary at the end of the year. Or maybe it was for the raise the legislators were going to vote themselves. You can’t be concerned with a few thousand children suffering the consequences of a government not caring about the people they purportedly serve. Me? I’d like to string him up by his b____s and waterboard him with some of that lead-tainted water he thinks is fine for the community! Oh, and nice shot!

Ever since reading Wallace Stegner in the 80s, I’ve worried about water. We have GOT to focus on this problem!
In terms of the photo: I’d like to climb to the top and see what I can see! Beautiful!

As much as we complain about the decline in industry and manufacturing it sure has had long term effects on the waterways and now, as you say, it’s on with the fracking etc etc. I suppose this wheel will just keep turning and turning until one day the well is dry . . . Great shot Joe!

Hello Joe:
Copy that. We are having our longest drought in history in Panama. In some places of the countryside, more than 80 percent all rivers and streams are now dry and rainfall is not expected until the end of May.
Water is distributed to villages and small towns through water tanks. That is only to mitigate the problem. Cattle will die if drought continues. Middle class families are buying their drinking water in five-gallon cannisters.
Water right now is more valuable and critical than gasoline. I hear you, Joe.

It really is getting to a point where more people should start paying more attention to the water crisis. In the northeastern part of the USA water is plentiful but once these big oil and gas companies lobby the government to allow fracking we could kiss our plentiful water supply goodbye after they poison it with their chemicals.
