I was trying to find the quote Joe is talking about but I think he made it up. 🙂 I did find “I have a vision of life, and I try to find equivalents for it in the form of photographs.” by Alfred Stieglitz, which I liked but I’m not sure it has much to do with this image and with your ability to have seen it. I love the ghostlike leaves beneath the surface! Great job!
This is so cool how half the leaf is on the surface and the rest is underwater Laurie 🙂 This is a perfect example of seeing something the rest of the world does not see. There is a quote “In order to truly see you must limit your vision” and I wish I could remember who said it but this image is a perfect example of this. Great work.
Superb eye, Laurie!

I really like this quote. Trying to find what we visualize in our minds. Making our dreams reality … something like that. Glad you like this one!

This is often how it is in life… more to the experience than what it appears to be on the surface. Great capture, Laurie!
