Well now, who’s leaned against that column? A young lady waiting for a kiss from her beau? A little girl holding a kitten.? A guy smoking a pipe, thinking about life or a mom taking a break from sweeping? Certainly a dwelling with such a long history has a million life stories to share. At least we can imagine them, even though unlike this house, we weren’t there. I love old things for their imagined history.
