I had a two week vacation in Hawaii this summer. I remember cliff jumping in Kona last time I was there so I went back to the same place to see if I could get some good shots of the locals. In typical island style the locals were all really nice to me, especially when they realized that I would send the pics that I took. I’ve always been a sucker for silhouettes so when the sun started to set I was able to get some great shots. This almost looks like three shots stitched together but it’s actually three different guys getting ready to jump. You can see more of my shots from Hawaii over on SMB-Photo.com.

Fabulous shot and such great timing.

Funny, how much people don’t mind you taking pictures when you offer to send them some. Everyone is a ham at the end of the day.

Thanks. I don’t want to see summer go even if the days are starting to get shorter.

I know that feeling well. Though I will confess to a hankering for pumpkin lattes and apple pie.
