A week ago I saw these two fishermen out at the sea and was admiring their courage since the ice had already started to melt. I suppose they know the sea and sense whether the ice can still carry them or not. A serene view I thought, and something so meditative about fishing.

Great capture, Elina! I especially like the balance and layout of the dark and light tones. As for these two men, hardy individuals! Glad you stayed on the shore to shoot this 🙂

I’m guessing there is not much ice fishing where you are. 🙂 Thank you so much for your kind words Robyn! Have a lovely weekend!

Great image Elina 🙂 I would be too afraid of falling through the ice to take this sport up. I have to admit it does look relaxing. Great work.

Me too… I didn’t dare going on the ice to get a closer view. 🙂 Thank you Joe for your kind words!
