    What a wonderful image Joe, such beautiful light and wonderful detail. There’s something charming about such old windows… it must be the one that you open by pushing the lower part up… I haven’t seen such around here. Really lovely composition and such great use of light! 🙂

      Thank you so much Elina 🙂 We seem to be stuck in a time warp in the US because this window style called double hung (no sexual overtones intended) is still the most popular kind. I know in Sweden and Norway and probably in Finland where you are they have a lot more advanced and energy efficient styles. Thank you again 🙂

        So interesting to hear such windows are popular there. I don’t know if we have more advanced kind but it seems to be an architectural difference. I don’t remember ever seeing double hung windows here, not in old nor new buildings. 🙂
