    When I was a child, I often thought landscapes like this were so terribly dull and uninteresting – constantly asking my parents “are we there yet?” while burying my face in one of my favorite books. Of course, as I grew up, the moments I could care less about suddenly became interesting and desirable! Now, I absolutely love these locations; you captured a fantastic scene. Fantastic image Patti! 🙂

    Love the composition, with the hint of the gas station. Seems to be a desolate area, and makes me think of the hardships being a trucker must entail. I have always imagined it to be a lonely life – the same emotion conjured by the photo.
