To go Mirrorless or Not

Black And White Photography, Photography

Last week I asked you to suggest a genre of photography that best reflects who you are and what type of photography you most enjoy. I really enjoyed reading the replies and would like to thank those who took part!

Once again, I haven’t had a lot of time to take photos (on the hobby side of things) and have mostly been photographing for work. Also, one more week until we move to a new place.

I thought I’d use my slot this week to ask another question (actually, a couple questions!). With the ever increasing production of new and more powerful mirrorless cameras, would you ever consider changing to a smaller camera system (Sony, Leica, Olympus, Fuji, etc) and if you have already gone this route, what were your reasons and how have you enjoyed the camera thus far?

I recently sold all of my Canon DSLR system and now shoot solely with the Leica M system and Sony A7r. Both are wonderful cameras and I have been more than happy. One aggravation regarding the Sony would be the menu system and plethora of buttons which, for me, can make taking pictures a chore. Cheers.

The photo was from Thailand back in 2011.
