I dream of a place I visited last summer. A place of peace and tranquility. The gentle sound of water, of birds, of the breeze in the trees and the hum of insects in the evening. OK, the insects were a bit of a nightmare.

To find a place that allows for a bit of solitude, to have a moment to gather in the beauty of all the nature that surrounds person, to just bask in the grandeur of a place on the shore of a fresh water sea. This is such a place.

The Salt Pond
Vacation and another early morning walk, this time along the Salt Pond.
Seriously! How could a person not feel more peaceful just by gazing upon this reflection? I try to remember this lovely scene as I balance the demands of life and while I may not always balance them as perfectly as this reflection, I do know that life is good and I am fortunate. I hope the same for you.
