Fuji X-Pro 1 and Fuji XF 35mm f/2 WR R Lens – 1/1250 @ f/2.8 – ISO 200
Today I decided to take my old Fuji X-Pro 1 out with the just released Fuji 35mm f/2 lens. I think I’m in love all over again 🙂
For my friends across the pond the term “going postal” in the USA usually means someone who is losing their mind and destroying things.

Westward, Ho!
Emilio, PhotographyWell, the search continues here in the west. This is the third weekend in a row we have taken the 3 hour trip to Zion in hopes of finding autumn colors. No luck so far. But, what we have found is a new appreciation for the beauty that is Zion. So, next weekend we will be making the trip again. My fear, though, is that by then the temperature will drop so quickly that the leaves will fall even before getting the chance to show off their colors.
So, I meant to share a few images from this past weekend but decided I must share this image first. It made me think of my grandfather and how much he appreciated Western movies and would have appreciated this conestoga wagon, parked in front of a tourist shopping center on the way to Zion. As I’ve mentioned in my About page, I believe he ended up here in the west because he always liked the films of Sergio Leone. What I didn’t mention is that he would fall asleep most times to the music from The Godfather. An Italian of limited interests, my grandfather!
Shadows I
Black And White Photography, Charly, PhotographyThe shadows have always fascinated me. Especially when I discovered that composing a picture are so important as any solid, three-dimensional element. In addition, the shadows are dynamic, your change is constant, depending on the time of day or the season.
