The Cobbler’s Shelves
Black And White Photography, Laurie, PhotographyThose of you who have followed me these past few years, know about my love for these 35 year old fire fighting boots. When I dropped them off at the Cobbler’s shop for repair, I saw that the shelves were loaded down with shoes and boots of every style. In our throw away society, it is reassuring to know that others have a love for old boots and shoes, and that a third generation cobbler has the skill to restore these treasures.
The Cobbler’s Shop
Black And White Photography, Laurie, PhotographyMy beloved boots needed repairing, and this time the job needed to be done right. Fortunately, a third generation cobbler opened a little shop not far from my home. I’ll share a photo of the shoes and boots on the shelves another time. This time, it’s all about the shadows.
