I’m late, I’m late, for a very important date …

When this posts, it’ll be just a few hours away from the Monochromia meet-up in New York City! Save me a seat at the bar, guys and gals 😃

Terminal Walkway, Ronald Reagan National Airport, Washington, DC

Ronald Reagan National Airport, Washington, DC

Nope, we weren’t photographing anyone famous. I was a member of a “photo safari”  that allowed us to photograph the interior of the airport. This particular site was an exercise in capturing the leading lines and repeating architecture of this terminal walkway. I decided the shot would be much more fun and interesting by capturing the other photographers and the movement of the approaching travelers.

Brutalist Barbican

Barbican London

The Barbican, a City of London housing complex with the largest performing arts centre in Europe built from the rubble of WWII bombing.

Through the maze of leading lines we eventually arrived at the photographic exhibition curated by Martin Parr – Strange and Familiar Britain as viewed by foreigners from the 1930’s through to today.

An impressive list of foreigners, an absolute must see!

Screwed and Owned…

Owned because I can’t make Photoshop work well in a Windows 10 virtual machine running under Linux… Ok sorry for the technical vocabulary. I am running Linux Ubuntu on my desktop and I can’t find any good photograhy software. So I feel owned by Adobe and Microsoft 😥

I wish I could get more from that picture. I can see aliasing…

I am looking to buy this coming fall a Sony Z5 cellphone (benchmark) which actually gives a nice 23Mpx. If I can make somthing good with it, I’ll be able to shoot AND to process every picture on this cellphone.

We’ll see.
