While out on a walk in Oslo this summer I stumbled on this elephant by the river. Seemed worth a shot or two.

I still believe that film is the best medium for black and white. Maybe I’m a luddite. Ironically this was shot on my Leica M9P. However I still shoot film, although at the moment I have a big box in my freezer cozying up to some fish and a couple of frozen Haggises (Or should that be Haggai). I keep making plans to have a rummage it’s just I haven’t got around to it this past year. But never fear I will get around to it …some day :0)

This couple caught my eye while I was walking along a beach near my sisters house in England. It’s very British. A quiet Sunday afternoon enjoying peace and watching the boats sailing back and forth.

A grab shot (Hence the wheeley bin in the background) from a fair I attended a while back.

One of the many modern art sculptures in and around central Oslo. This one is a favourite of mine.

An everyday scene seems to sum up what Ghent is all about. A beautiful city with a lot of normal things going on, and a few slightly crazy ones all thrown in.

My Summer holiday this year was bookended by two weddings. This is a shot from the 2nd wedding . The Bridesmaids were sat waiting for the Bride. So I squeezed in a couple of shots this being one of the best.

Well this isn’t a full blown lighthouse more of a folly really. Rather quirky and a bit of fun with no doubt a serious purpose.
