The shadows have always fascinated me. Especially when I discovered that composing a picture are so important as any solid, three-dimensional element. In addition, the shadows are dynamic, your change is constant, depending on the time of day or the season.

Lately I’m getting away from my usual way of taking photographs. I am interested in exploring movement and blur, away from reality and closer to abstraction. This theme I have developed in color, as you can see in my blog, but I am also interested to work it in black and white.

In photography it is as important as what is what is not seen. Sometimes, it is more important what is not. This image is an allegory of what is photography, a game of mirrors, a lie within a lie.

The park Labyrinth of Horta is the oldest garden in Barcelona. Horta is a district of Barcelona close to the Collserola. Started in 1791 by the Marquis of Llupià, landowner, it was completed in 1802. It was ceded to the city in 1967 and opened in 1971. The photograph is a view of the temple of Italian style with Tuscan columns and containing the statue of Danae, mother of Perseus.

The architect Josep Fontseré urbanized land that were free to demolish the fortress that oppressed Barcelona after losing the War of Succession in 1714. During the last twenty years of the nineteenth century a number of buildings were built in a unitary and eclectic style. Its most prominent feature is the arched porches round spot. This photograph is a view of the porches from within.
