There is a herd of wild horses that hang out by the Salt River near Mesa, Arizona and if you time it right, you can catch them cooling off in the water. On this day, there were about 25 of the nearly 200 that roam the area.

Very cool, David. We have areas here in Virginia (Chincoteague and Assateagueon the coast and on Mt Rogers in the mountains), where you can see wild horses. Always a thrill.
