Excellent image AJ. Most people who have never visited Washington DC don’t realize how immense these monuments are. The memorial that really choked me up was the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. So many friends that I went to high school with were listed on that Memorial.
Sorry for the late response Joe, somehow I got kicked out of my account on my phone and it’s not letting me in for some reason! Thanks and I completely agree that till my first visit to DC I had no comprehension of the size and scope of the monuments. Yes, the Vietnam war was a pity and I feel badly for the ones that paid the ultimate price! And now see what’s going on around us. What a mess!
