In my readings after the visit this site, I like this historical piece the most…
“The start date of construction of the Bottle Tower is put at either 1741 or 1742, believed to have been initiated by William’s wife, Katherine Conolly, with the aim of both storing grain and employing locals during and after the devastating Irish Famine of 1740–1741. The construction of this wonderful barn was completed in 1743.”
I am so grateful, I was able to view the Wonderful Barn with my own eyes!
Very distinctive!
Like a dream image.
