Awesome image Steven 🙂 I love old lighthouses. I was even considering taking a vacation and staying at one of the old lighthouses that offer that option but then I thought about all of the chores that have to be done and changed my mind LOL. Fantastic work.

Thank you, Joe. FYI, it is possible to stay at Saugerties Lighthouse. Sorry, but I don’t have any particulars.

If it was modernized (computerized) and I didn’t have to do any chores I would consider it Steven. They wouldn’t even have to offer room service LOL.

It is a two bedroom B and B. It is open in the warmer months, I think Thursday- Sunday only. You have to walk a half mile to it from the parking lot. At high tide you may have to wade through water, but high boots of various sizes are left in one area on the trail to use. The walk itself has stunning river views.

You can walk there anytime when the park is open, but staying at the Lighthouse is limited.
