Leftovers, Woodbury, Connecticut

Cleaning up around the place and happened upon these remains from last year. I thought about rearranging them, but in the end I simply made a couple of exposures which I tried to develop to look like a platinum/palladium print using Snapseed on my iPad.

Pentax KIIs with 50mm f1.4 lens.

  1. Hi. Thanks for sharing a great image. I love the composition with its strong verticals, counter balanced with the diagonal of the plant superimposed over them, the various textures and hues. It possesses a subtle atmospheric disposition that is quite haunting. What lighting did you use initially in the shoot? Happy Photography. Have a wonderful day. Goff.

    1. Thank you for your comment. This is just as I found it, though I was tempted to rearrange things at first. These were some dead plants on the side of a garage and at the time of exposure they were lit by high overcast skylight.
