As I lay there, looking up through that small gap in the trees, I thought “I’ve got my contribution for Monochromia this week!” Then I came home and the image was just not as inspiring as I hoped it would be.
How often do we do that? We think we captured something cool … and then … it really isn’t.
You know what, though? I have a really nice memory of feeling peaceful and content.
And that makes it all good to me.

…and yet it looks great!

I once worked with an old man who had a saying for situations like this. “Sometimes it just beez like that”.

Peaceful and content sounds great to me Laurie 🙂 I love the image. I sometimes take images that I think are unworthy to show then people tell me they love them. I guess it’s a case of being too critical of our own work which I’m sure all of us do. Awesome work.
