Waiting to fight. That’s what this guy was doing. I loved the detail in the chainmail in this shot. To my mind the people in the distance give a clue to the anticipation even though you can’t see this guys face.

Nice composition! Love attending these events, the cast members take authenticity quite seriously. Photos like this give a great photojournalist view into our historical past.
