Construction of this Canadian national historic site began in 1823 and today nearly 200 years later, the Notre-Dame Basilica, located in Old Montreal is a much venerated and constantly busy historic landmark dedicated to Mother Mary that is an architectural marvel

      Thank you very much. The Basilica along with the rest of Montreal and Quebec City, a couple of hours away are indeed worth the visit. A great alternative to a flight into Europe!
