Great image David but it always makes me sad when fire sweeps across any wilderness area. Every so often we have fires in the pine barrens on eastern Long Island and I think of all the wildlife thats lost. Awesome work.

It’s a very surreal scene paddling through miles of burned landscape, the only upside being the increased blueberry crop in the burned areas.
