WOW what a breathtaking image! It amazes me how 1. something that looks ordinary in person turns out to look so extraordinary in a photo and 2. how a tree can be something that can produce such a sense of awe!
The photograph freezes an instant in time and that has a tremendous power on our imagination, in addition, the black and white abstracts the form and allows a different vision. This tree is a real king of the forest, with a trunk of a meter in diameter, to me it causes me much respect.
