This was only my second visit to Caumsett, the first time was 5 plus years back. The place is very interesting and I need to explore a lot more. I am made to understand that this is a fresh pond and not an inlet although located very close to the sound at the North Eastern border of the park behind the main house less than two miles North from the parking lot.
Great image AJ 🙂 I have been to Caumsett park so many times and I had never noticed a lake (unless this is a inlet off of the LI Sound). I guess I never walked far enough in my explorations. Wonderful work.
