Treasure Island Hotel and Casino Detail Las Vegas NV October 15, 2016
Nothing better to do on a lazy Sunday afternoon than go down to the strip and practice street photography. I got sidetracked and took mostly shots of buildings.
Thanks, Raewyn. I keep trying new stuff. This was given a sepia tint (it looks too dark to me now) with a split tone, then I added a yellow flare in the light with an adjustment brush and radial filter.
This is a great shot Emilio it doesn’t look like Vegas at all. Is it just me or does that upper middle part of the building look like an open box of spaghetti ? (I know Im fat but talk about getting sidetracked) Awesome work 🙂
It’s just you, Joe. There has never been- to my recollection- any type of food in any of my photos. But that’s the thing about art, everyone sees what they want to see. Maybe you were just hungry? 🙂
The traditional Las Vegas is far removed from the Rat Pack days. We have replicas of Rome, New York, England in the time of pirates, and Rome in the time of the gladiators!:) A lot of the hotels are straight out of Hollywood movies!
Great image – I do the same. I walked all around Wellington central last Saturday and ended up pointing the camera upwards. Interesting editing.

A stunning view, it looks like a picture of London from late 1900 century.

Exactly! But I think the architecture did that more than my photo or processing! Thank you, Lena!

Amazing! It’s not the traditional Las Vegas.
