Bethesda Terrace and Fountain, Central Park, New York
One of my favorite places in all of New York is the Bethesda Terrace overlooking the Bethesda Fountain and its Angel of the waters statue unveiled in 1873, a good century before I was born. A must visit in my book for anyone visiting this part of the world leave alone a joy for the photo enthusiast.

I’d never heard of this place. Excellent shot!

Thank you 🙂
I never fail to pass by the fountain when I visit the park and even during the winter months when they turn off the water the terrace holds its charm.

Thank you Graham, very kind of you. This and a few others I took at this location are among some of my all time favorite Black and Whites to date.

The light on the tiled ceiling is just splendid. The name also has a special resonance as I live in a town called Bethesda in Wales. Best wishes.
