There is silence except for the sound of snowblowers to dig us out. I have not been out taking images because I spent all day today digging out but it really is hauntingly beautiful. The forecast was for 4 to 8 inches on Long Island but we ended up getting around 24 inches (fairly close to 4 to 8, LOL). In some places the drifting snow is 5 feet tall ๐
I love silence. Always highlighted in the snow!

Beautiful shot Elina ๐ There is nothing like the delicate silence of freshly fallen snow. Great work.

I agree, and I hope there’s that silence over there on Long Island now that you got some snow. And, hopefully not too much snow. ๐

I can imagine how much work that means, but it must look cool all covered with so much fresh snow. ๐
