Fuji X100T – 1/60 @ f/4 – ISO – 200
This is an image I took as we were leaving the Photo Plus Expo at the Javits Center in NYC. Louis Mendes is on the left sporting his version of a mirrorless camera and our very own Patti Fogerty is on the right with her infectious smile and Fuji X100T. After looking at Louis’s rig Patti and I agreed the newer mirrorless cameras are so much easier to hide in a coat pocket or bag. How technology marches on. Thanks for making Saturday a really fun day Patti 🙂 What started out as blogging cyber friends has developed into a really wonderful friendship. I wouldn’t dare go into Manhattan without giving Patti a shout.
PS – I want Louis’s hat Emilio !
FANTASTIC, Joe!! Love that you got Patti, love that you got her with her Fuji, and love the comparison with Louis’s camera 🙂 I’ll have to look up Louis – his name is new to me, but if his photography carries even half the flare of how he looks in this photo, I know I’m going to be a new fan 🙂 Such great fun. Wish I had been there to share it with the two of you!

What a great shot Joe, even if I am in it, but what a thrill to be in the company of the wonderful Louis Mendes, the NYC photog described as “Shaft with a Camera!” He has some cracker comments about photography in this NYT’s article http://www.nytimes.com/2010/01/03/nyregion/03polaroid.html?_r=0
It goes without saying that it was another great day out with you Joe, thank you as ever for your kind and generous friendship which is so appreciated by all of us here!

Great shot, Joe. Patti is gorgeous! Louis ain’t bad, either. Looks like he’d have some great stories and the personality to tell them. But if you’re placing an order, I need your hat size. I know I have your address around here somewhere!

Once Joe has the hat we can pass it around and get him a neat leather coat to go with it!
(Thank you Emilio for your very kind words 🙂 )

Patti, if we dress Joe too well, he might run away from home. Then I’d feel guilty.

You can pass the hat around for a new Fuji 90mm lens also if you like Patti 🙂

LOL thanks Emilio but I’m afraid I would look too much like a pimp with a hat like Louis’s (he could pull off stylin’ with that hat better than I can). As for Patti she’s sweet, gorgeous and a great sense of humor all rolled up into a petite little package (I sure hope that sounds like I meant it 🙂 )

Calling Patti- or any woman- a “petite little package” is a smart move, as far as I understand it.
