(Equally as stunning in color on Visual Venturing.) The perks of accompanying my husband on a recent business trip to New York City: staying in a Manhattan hotel with this amazing lobby. Sitting on the opposite side waiting for our names to be called for lunch in the hotel restaurant, I just had to take a picture — as much for the stunning mirrored architecture as for the two suited gentlemen busy on their respective electronic devices.

    Rarely do I say this but I think this time around I like the colour a little better. The softness of those pinks add something. BUT not to take away a magnificent shot. The black and white lends itself, with all those different textures, patterns and architecture, to being highlighted so brilliantly in BW…

    This is a spectacular image Stacy 🙂 What a gorgeous hotel and it was right across the street from the south entrance to Central Park if memory memory serves me right. Great work.

    I’m just continually bowled over by the quality of these Fuji shots. OK, and the shooter’s artistry! I saw this first in b&w so I think this is my favorite. But I could be easily persuaded otherwise. 🙂
