On The Way Out of Town

Black And White Photography, Laurie, Photography

The morning found me back on the road again, and I was rushing to keep on time.  This scene made me stop the truck, run across the road, and wander around shooting in the dew soaked median for just a bit.

Yet another reason to love photography … the chance to stop, to breathe, and to capture the beauty that surrounds us.

  1. Fog is just so mystical and magical. I’m glad you took the time to let it envelope you for just a bit. Joe is correct… photographers are artists that see beauty in events or conditions that others might stray from.

    1. Hi Lori! Thank you!
I’m hoping that I can do some blog visiting this week. 12 trips in 12 weeks has kept me from getting around to see folks.
      Hope you are well!

  2. Wonderful image Laurie 🙂 While most “normal” people stay indoors or don’t notice foggy days us photography nuts see the beauty in them. These kind of days really inspire me to get out and grab some images. Great work.

    1. You are so right, Joe, and thank you! These scenes do draw our eyes. I can’t tell you how many similar scenes I saw on the way out of town but wasn’t able to stop, like on a bridge over a major highway 🙂

      1. Did I mention I slept most of the way to DC on the train. Was enjoying all the farms going by when BLAM, “next stop, Union Station”, LOL I guess I was burning that candle to the max xoxoxo
