Well, at first I thought it was a flipped photo and the sky was the sea with the trees being reflections!! Excellent image Laurie and a great one to play with our perception of things 🙂 I’m not sure what a colour version would have looked like, but this is pretty much perfect in B&W.

That’s exactly what I thought when I first glanced at this photo. Especially down near the horizon. You seem to be in the right place and the time. but I don’t imagine you go far without that trusty camera. xoK

yes down by the horizon those trees could almost be ocean plants, right?
I was just telling Alys that this week has been so chock full that I only pulled out the camera twice … and I was lucky enough to capture two shots that I really liked, this one and the Locked Out image. I feel somehow lost when I can’t practice my photography.
Did I tell you that I’m going to photo document the campaign trail? It’ll be a different kind of “travel log” 🙂
So good to talk with you yesterday. I cannot WAIT to gather this spring! Feel better my dear friend!

Steven, your comment means much to me! I’m so very glad you like this image. It was fine in color, but it really grabbed me in monochrome. Thank you!

Thanks, Joe! I don’t remember who it was that suggested the link to the sea, but they said it in response to the color version. It looks even more like it in B&W.
