A boy runs in the surf during the golden hour at the beach in Santa Monica. While the rest of the country is busy shoveling snow and trying to keep warm, those of us in SoCal are suffering through a drought and unseasonably warm weather. And by suffering I mean enjoying playing in the surf in late November.
Check out more of my images over at my blog SamoBiker.

What a fantastic photo, Wade. The lone sailboat, the water splashing around the runner’s feet, his reflection, and the serenity of the beach and the ocean. Just wonderful!

Cool shot of the water being kicked up as he runs / plays. It’s so smooth.
Lovely!
(I do worry about the drought out there … scary times for mother earth)

Thanks, it’s always fun to watch kids play carefree at the beach.

Great shot Wade 🙂 I love the reflection and the sailboat in the distance. I agree, nobody should go through that much suffering where you can play in the surf until November. Does anyone have a tissue I’m getting emotional 🙂 Great work Wade.

Thanks Joe. It’s sub 60 today so I hope you take pity on me and the fact that I have to bust out a scarf. Happy New Year!
