Beautiful images, I like the idea of two people in the light and someone in the darkness beside them. Terrific shot, as many times with your photos it could be the beginning of a story, a dark one in this case 🙂

Your comment reminds me of the fascination I had with the Phantom comics when I was younger. Maybe I’m looking for the Ghost who Walks! Thank you so much for your kind words!
What bothers me is not the guy in the hoodie but these two walking towards me. Do they get all dressed up in running gear to go down to the corner grocery store to buy munchies? Beer? What? It was raining just a few minutes ago and these two are practically naked. Yeah, I know bout the humidity in New York. In August. Right after the rain. But come on people. Show a bit of decorum!
Oh, yeah, love the shot! Perfectly exposed and processed! Nice!
You shot this handheld?? Very impressive! Love the photo – I feel as if I’m on the street walking towards them, though I’d probably give a wide berth to the guy in the hoodie at this late hour 🙂
I love this image Patti its wonderful. I agree with the previous commenter about the person in the hoodie because obviously it was a warm evening, what the ?….
Doesn’t the slick of recent rain add the most sophisticated sheen to the most mundane of streets? The guy (?) in the hoodie looks as if he’s been dropped in from somewhere else … 🙂
Thank you so much Paula! The thrill of being out on the streets without a tripod is not knowing what will happen, those surprise moments – plus I am far too lazy to carry one around!

Thank you SP for your kind words! I shouldn’t worry too much about the hoodie – that could be me on more than enough nights out! 🙂

Love your comment Meredith, like wearing lipstick! As for the hoodie, they always seem to pop up out of nowhere!

Extraordinary shot, Patti. It must have been very late at night. I can’t still believe the quality of photos you produce without a tripod 🙂
