House At The End…

20160103-untitled shoot-2-Edit

This is a shot of a derelict house at the end of a local road. It still looks a little lived in. It’s on private ground so I haven’t been inside. I think the people that own the house (They have another next door) use it as a shed.

I just love the peeling paint and the hanging bicycle.

MG In The Woods

I weep a little every time I see this classic sticking out from under the trees and bushes. For those that are wondering, it is an MG Magnette.

This last summer I got to see a fully restored one  (however not the one in the link) at a country show. The owner told me that in the sixties they were often used as stock cars as they were powerful and sturdy. Many were just raced and wrecked so there aren’t too many in good condition any more.

This is a fairly straight shot with only black and white conversion. It has an almost 3D effect in my opinion.

My dear friend Espen has his own successful catering company. His attention to “the small details” is the secret to his success. Here he is seasoning a whole grilled lamb at a BBQ I attended last weekend.
