Today I decided to take my old Fuji X-Pro 1 out with the just released Fuji 35mm f/2 lens. I think I’m in love all over again 🙂
For my friends across the pond the term “going postal” in the USA usually means someone who is losing their mind and destroying things.

I realize in the John Carpenter movie adaptation of the Steven King novel “Christine” they used a 58′ Plymouth Fury but this 57′ Chevy is just “Bad to the Ba..Ba..Bone” also.

This is an image I took as we were leaving the Photo Plus Expo at the Javits Center in NYC. Louis Mendes is on the left sporting his version of a mirrorless camera and our very own Patti Fogerty is on the right with her infectious smile and Fuji X100T. After looking at Louis’s rig Patti and I agreed the newer mirrorless cameras are so much easier to hide in a coat pocket or bag. How technology marches on. Thanks for making Saturday a really fun day Patti 🙂 What started out as blogging cyber friends has developed into a really wonderful friendship. I wouldn’t dare go into Manhattan without giving Patti a shout.
PS – I want Louis’s hat Emilio !

Taken at the east entrance to Washington Square Park in Manhattan while on a photo expedition with fellow contributor Patti Fogerty. This gentleman is better known as Colin “The Crazy Piano Guy”. Thanks for a great day Patti 🙂

While attending a classic car show I noticed this beautiful Packard with a fedora and a pack of Lucky Strike cigarettes on the front seat which prompted the shot. Ahh nostalgia 🙂
