Thereโs nothing like the sound of a Fender bass guitar played by a great musician. Terry and I had the pleasure of seeing Roger Waters (bass guitarist of Pink Floyd) in 2018 when he was on the โUs And Themโ tour and he played his black Fender bass guitar. Of course his band played all of the hits from their Dark Side Of The Moon and The Wall albums. He sounded great. I wonder how hard it would be to play the fretless precision bass vs a normal bass guitar ๐ค
The master of the fretless electric bass is Jaco Pastorius, and I understand it’s not easy to play bass like that. I have great memories of Pink Floyd, which I used to go see every time I came to Barcelona, always great concerts. “Wish You Were Here” was the soundtrack to my military service…
Hey Joe – this is great! I know you were a happy listener

Unfortunately, the photographs don’t convey sound, but I can imagine what that beautiful Fender bass sounds like! ๐
