What better way to start a new year than to spend time with a grandchild who wants to learn about photography? He received a camera for Christmas and was excited to go out and spend time with me practicing with it. It also is a way to remind me of the basics as I pass them on to him.

Excellent image David 🙂 Its great that your grandson got a camera as a present at such a young age. I’m sure with your help he can start honing his skills that he will carry with him throughout life. Wonderful work.

Excellent! Now all he needs is a car, gas money, EZ Pass, and your credit card for lodging. Remind him to expose to the right-but just a bit.

At some point that will be true, but it’s amazing how much stuff you can find to take pictures of very close to home. I will trust his imagination and creativity to figure it out.
