Thanks, Joe. I usually don’t eat nuts, but my wife does. These are part of the harvest from the two hazelnut bushes in our garden a few years ago. Usually, we don’t get many nuts because of the squirrels. They collect the nuts before we’re able to pick some. But, that’s ok (for my wife, too). The squirrels were the beings who planted the hazelnut bushes.
This year, instead, we don’t have any nuts. Last fall we cut back all the trees and bushes. Especially hazelnut bushes grow quite quick. So, it’s necessary to cut them back after a few years.
