
I discovered this composition along the shore of the St. Louis River in Jay Cooke State Park, which is near Duluth, Minnesota. The Medusa like root tendrils seeking a foothold among the rocks seem alive as they reach out new places to get a grip on the land.

Incredible image David these roots look like spaghetti (probably the only spaghetti I wouldn’t eat, LOL). Outstanding work.
