“And then I went to visit my sister in the states and all of a sudden it was just like, it’s like… it’s like the movie Wizard of Oz when all of a sudden it changes from Black and White to glorious Technicolor.” ~~ John Mahoney, actor
For some reason, this image reminded me of The Wizard Of Oz, hence the title and quote.
Please visit Photos By Emilio for the color version that looks nothing like Oz! Or Kansas!

I don’t know, Laurie. Maybe it’s the camera? Or Lightroom? Or Nik. Gotta be one of those if not all! 🙂

Brilliant sci-fi here Emilio, love that sedan chair sitting up there like it’s waiting for Donnie Darko to rest his weary soul.

Patti, I don’t see the sedan chair you’re referring to.

Maybe I’m imagining the funny angled car seat at the wheel of the tractor to the left!

Oh, now that I see it, I agree with you. It does NOT look like an original tractor seat!

Great in monochrome too. Hard to pick a favourite this week.

I love this image for two reasons Emilio. The first being it displays old farm equipment (which you know I love anything old including people) is exposed and processed perfectly and the composition is spot on. The second being it reminds me of a Steven King novel like “Children of the corn” in a midwestern type setting. Wonderful work.

I don’t know Children of the Corn but it sounds like one of King’s typical. Maybe I could do a new book cover if they republish it.
