SoHo, New York City
For those not familiar with New York City, “SoHo” stands for “south of Houston Street” (pronounced “houseton).” It’s a trendy area in lower Manhattan, sporting pricey boutiques and charming atmosphere, including streets paved with “Belgian blocks.” And, this day, it was alive with long shadows of late afternoon.

A brilliant shot Stacy with the beautiful light and long tall shadow of the booted girl taking centre spotlight under the guiding hand that says stop. She owns it!

Okay, so I must admit I didn’t even SEE that hand, Patti! I was so focused on the sidelight and her glance to her right, that I totally missed that. But now that you’ve pointed it add, I LOVE the dimension it adds to the photo! Thanks for that 🙂

This is a wonderful image Stacy and I love the Soho area 🙂 Did you ever see the Home Depot in this area ? It looks like a gorgeous catering hall rather than a builders supply. Great work.

Really, there’s a Home Depot in SoHo??? I’ll definitely have to go on a hunt for it the next time I’m down there – I can just imagine 😀 Thanks, Joe!

Yup, it’s May, and I’m just starting to backtrack through posts to finally reply. A late “thank you” but no less heartfelt, Cee 🙂
