Once again, I am turning the world on its side and re-imagining the textures of cedar tree bark discovered while walking in Minnesota’s Jay Cooke State Park. By turning the image on its side, I’ve created the possibly of other interpretations of the original image.
Canon PowerShot ELPH 340 HS, ISO 100, 4.5mm, f/3.6, 1/40 sec, processed through Adobe Lightroom CC, Photoshop CC and Silver Efex Pro 2.

Awesome image and a great play on words David 😀 I posted sort of a similar image on one of my sites a while back and everyone thought it was tree bark but it was “pond scum” for lack of a better word – https://thevisualchronicle.com/2015/01/08/trapped/
Wonderful work.
