Batman and Stacy face off in New York.

Didier is a talented writer, filmmaker and photographer based in Paris, France. When he first contacted me about joining Monochromia I was immediately struck by the depth of the images he submitted. I am glad to have him on board as part of our family and I hope to meet him this coming June when he visits New York City to work on a project. Jusqu’à ce que nous rencontrons à New York – Joe

Rico is a photographer based out of Scotland. When our very own Susan Licht had suggested contacting Rico to possibly join us as a Guest Contributor I immediately took a look at his black and white work on our sister Facebook group “Life in Black and White”. I was delighted with the creativity his images displayed. I then started the hunt for him to join us and boy am I glad he agreed. His work is very creative and refreshing I love it. I hope to get the chance to meet him one day – Joe

When Ingrid first contacted me to join Monochromia as a Guest Contributor I was totally blown away with the initial image she sent me. It had such “soul” (for lack of a better word) and emotion that I promptly responded to her request with a resounding “YES”. Ingrid is a French photographer who is living in Munich, Germany and I absolutely adore every image she has shared with us. Here is another look at the first image she submitted – Joe

Anne-Cecile has been one of our guest contributors for a little over a year now a year now. She was just sixteen years old when she joined us and was still in school. Her images show a maturity and creativeness far beyond her young years. I chose this image to reinforce my point (in addition to Pink Floyd being one of my favorite bands) – Joe

While we are on the subject of talented Minnesota based photographers I thought I would post one of Cyndie’s images (Dan Traun’s better half :)). I have been a follower of Cyndie’s photoblog for a couple of years now and I have always been blown away with most of her abandoned farm and urban images. This particular image is a little different style but its also an image I wished I had taken – Joe

David is another talented Minnesota based photographer who has posted many great images on Monochromia. I chose this particular image because I feel its a combination fine art/abstract plus its one that I just can’t stop staring at 🙂 I only wish I had taken this one – Joe
