Living in a somewhat rural area, and having been stuck at home doing Continuing Ed, I didn’t get to see snow in the city. Thank you for bringing it into my world through your image. I also liked the history here. The ironworks building, and is that a freight train?
You braved the weather?? You’re a real woman! Not afraid of a little snow. Not like Joe who says he’ll take photos once it has stopped and he can dig himself out. I’ve never been to the South Bronx. Do you live out that way?
Thanks Emilio, last time I checked I was a real woman! Seriously though it was great day out, it would have killed me to stay indoors but then I don’t have a car here, the subway was running and I know my way around. I don’t live in the South Bronx but I can walk there, can walk back and would happily live there.
Great shot Patti! You were brave to venture out in the wind, snow and cold. We are enjoying all of the snow now, but boy was it a lot of work to clear our property!
I’ve been busy digging myself out but I knew I could count on you to be “right it the thick of it” to take an incredible image Patti 🙂 I’m hoping to take some images today. Great work.

Thank you Richard, it was so beautiful there – no traffic, a few people out and about, so peaceful.

Great shot – we are having a heatwave down here in New Zealand – hard to sleep so your photo was great to cool me down.

We’ve experienced a few of these blizzards up north, Canada and Québec, so we’re used to them. But I have to agree. This one was major.
The difference with our neighbours in more southern areas is that we’re equipped to deal with these manifestations of weather.
Looking carefully at your pix, an experienced eye will understand more clearly what you had to deal with. Great shot.

Thank you so much Fernan for your kind words. It was rough out there and you know what it’s like – have you had much up your way this winter?

Have you managed to dig yourself out yet Joe? It’s now messville here in the city but great fun being out and about in the blizzard. You take care!

All fine here thank you so much Sue – far easier out and about in the snow than it is in the rain! 🙂
