When Ingrid first contacted me to join Monochromia as a Guest Contributor I was totally blown away with the initial image she sent me. It had such “soul” (for lack of a better word) and emotion that I promptly responded to her request with a resounding “YES”. Ingrid is a French photographer who is living in Munich, Germany and I absolutely adore every image she has shared with us. Here is another look at the first image she submitted – Joe

Such great contrast – moody!

Oh my goodness, Ingrid, this image really does draw you in. Love the shadows, the simplicity, and that the viewer doesn’t really know the story

This is an amazing image which is why I chose it to showcase Ingrid π It is such simple a composition yet it has so much depth and emotion to it that you are drawn into it. I wish you and your family nothing but the best in the New Year and keep sharing these great images.
