Lately I’m getting away from my usual way of taking photographs. I am interested in exploring movement and blur, away from reality and closer to abstraction. This theme I have developed in color, as you can see in my blog, but I am also interested to work it in black and white.
You can see my blog at Charly Senall.

A really cool shot Charly! 🙂

Perhaps reality is an abstract blur in that every photo is a capture of motion in reality. A thrilling project Charly and a wonderful shot.

I think there are many realities as viewers have a photograph. My proposal seeks the issue remains forgotten and that photography is the true protagonist.
Patti thank you very much for your comment.
Best wishes.

a B/W is per definition always an” abstract of the real” . You could challenge the opposite 🙂 , before taken the image; Observe in BW and create an Image . Afterwards color the results as you saw it in the real . A true challenge . 🙂

Hello !
I generally see as the result of photography in black and white, what the outcome is. To introduce camera shake and blur in my shots I also believe a surprise to me. It’s fun. 😀
Thank you very much for your comment.
Have a great day.

Coincidentally I’m doing the same thing with leaves and flowers. Bokeh and a soft blurri create that soft creamy exposures that transforms reality into dreams. I’ve been enjoying the work of Kathleen Clemmons, a professional photographers from Oregon, who has specialized in shooting flowers with special lenses manufactured by Lensbaby Company. The URL for Lensababy is http://www.lensbaby.com in case you are interested in enjoying taking pictures with these unique lenses.
Her work is beyond words. Somthing similar is what I want to do in the near future, albeit the gear is a bit expensive; at least of a retiree with a tight wallet.
Now we seem be on the same page.
Best Regards,
Omar.-

Hi Omar, The Lensbaby lenses are very interesting and I have considered buying one, but for now I apply a technique of double exposure, the first exposure to the still camera and the second exposure by moving the camera.
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
Very cordial greetings.
