Woe! Look at this place. Cue the haunted house music, Joe. Thanks for linking me here.
Do you photograph in black and white, or process after the fact? I’ve much to learn, and hope to take advatage of your tutorials while I’m recovering from foot surgery.

Thank you Alys 🙂 This particular image was originally taken in color and converted to B&W in Adobe Lightroom. When I can’t visualize what a image will look like in B&W before I take it I will shoot in both color and B&W. With the Fuji X cameras this is easy because they offer film simulation bracketing (you choose 3 different film types and I usually use Standard, Classic Chrome and B&W). When you take one image the camera saves a total of 3 images with the different film simulations you chose.
Good luck with the foot surgery 🙂

Thanks for the explanation, Joe. What a handy feature to have on a camera. You must have amassed quite a camera collection by now. Do you have a favorite or does it depend on what you are shooting?
Thanks for the well wishes on the foot.

I would have to say the X100T the camera I took this image with is my favorite Alys. Simple retro design non interchangeable lens and every time I use it someone asks me if it’s an old film camera.

Cool! You’ll have to find your second-favorite camera and take some photos of this one for your blog. You’ve got the makings of a story right here in this comment.

Very nice, Joe. For some reason, it reminds me of a scene from a crime drama.
